Keep your trail boss safe when walking on trails during hunting seasons. Maybe you just want to see your dog a little better, any time of the year. This is no-see-um netting. It drips dry quickly and doesn't add weight or bulk to your dog. This mesh netting hasn't torn in miles of Daisy wearing it in mud puddles, through brush, or bounding after wildlife.
All my dog travel bags need zippers. I add a zipper to any tote bag and it becomes a nifty dog travel bag zippered tote.
Tote bags are handy for carrying all sorts of nessasary items, from groceries to pet supplies. Zippers keep items inside and in my case, a zipper keeps Daisy out of her dog travel bag.
My Daisy is exceptionally helpful. Here you see Daisy helping her self to the inventory inside her dog travel bag. She likes to be sure I don't forget anything, and maybe find something she'd like to have right now.
Materials I used...
Any tote bag in my stash
1 yard of 3 inch wide grosgrain ribbon
1 14 inch non seperating zipper
Sew Show Ribbon Garment Bag
Some of us love competition. A garment bag is a good way to keep your ribbons, and give them purpous. These events make me smile, and inspire me to do well every show where we compete.
This bag stuffs into the closet with the show clothes, and a handy zippered inside pocket holds the accessories that compliment that outfit.
It looks great hanging in your tack stall, or on the side of your trailer at competitions.
Keeping stinging flies off my horse, and keeping her visible in her pasture through hunting seasons.
I didn't make a video of this project. I traced a horse sheet that I owned for the pattern.
It has large darts over her hipbones, and the curve along her back fits her, and is reinforced with 1 inch orange nylon webbing.
Materials I used...
many yards of green extra wide double fold bias
3 yards of 2 inch wide orange nylon webbing
3 - 2 inch wide parachute buckles
Sew & No Sew DIY Dog Toys
Dogs apreciate toys that include everyone in the game. The cost of a toy isn't something a dog understands, only that they are enjoying time with their favorite friends.
Here are 2 very simple, inexpensive toys to make for your fur baby. Easy enough to make several more and give as gifts and bring some to shelters.
These roller shades have seen better days….
The roller underneath is in perfect working order.
I had bought fabric for this project in January before the pandemic. This is one of my many projects that I’ll get to when I have time. I have some free time, now.
2 yards per window x 31" wide vinyl backed fabric in a local discount store.
Singer HD 4423 Sewing Machine
I've completed many projects, ski bags, quitls, suede show chaps, and much more with this machine.
This is a Heavy Duty sewing machine and it ha lived up to my expectations.
Being able to sew my own horse show chaps, this sewing machine has paid for itself, many times over.
It has a built in, handy tool to help thread the needle. It's saved me time and frustration, and one of the reasons I bought this sewing machine. I've used it for seven years, sewing leather, vinyl, denim, cotton, and several layers of all type of fabrics.
I can't say enough good about this machine.
Sew Dog Christmas Bandanas
Sew a beautiful dog bandana with any remnant fabric that you have in your sewing stash.
A fun project and it's an opertunity to be creative and use embellishments that I've wanted to try.
