Sew Vinyl Dog Wash Grooming Apron
This is a fast & very easy diy project resulting in the most useful apron I've ever owned. Wear this apron to wash your dog, or your car.
First, mark the vinyl the shape you like. I traced an apron I made years ago. I also show how my french curve has the same shape to trace to make the top front of my new apron.
Second, cut the vinyl to the shape you want. Vinyl doesn't need to have hemmed edges, it doesn't fray. Make your edges as fancy or simple as you like. Vinyl cuts easily with scizzors or a rotary cutter.
I needed the apron right away, and made it very simple, and I love how it turned out. I've used it several times before making this blog or edit the video.
I did decorate my new apron with a little grossgrain ribbon, that I think is adorable. The colors match and both designs are water and beachy themed.
Decorating or embelishing your apron is optional and have fun with it.
The last step is to sew the straps onto your dog wash grooming apron. I used bias, but many other options would work equally well.
Enjoy your new apron, and have fun bathing your dog.
